A Little Bit of Italy in Broke

On the second weekend of April each year we welcome you to join us for our annual celebration of "La Dolce Vita"

Olives and olive oils from our own contacts in the area as well as some home made jams, pickled and preserves. Authentic Italian style gelato from the Hunter Valley Gelato Company

Dessert all day long with tiramisu and a range of other Italian style cakes and desserts, all washed down with our very own Italian red - Barbera - the classic variety from Piedmont in Northern Italy and a multi-award winner here at Mount Broke. No need to book unless there is a group of 8 or more, and all are welcome to join in the fun.

In 2012 this event will be held over the weekend of 31st March - 1st April so as to avoid Easter Weekend.

Broke Village Fair

The annual Big Day Out in the village of Broke when 10,000 people and hundreds of vintage and classic cars descend on McNamara Park in Broke for the day. This is always held - rain or shine - on the second Sunday of September each year.

This year Mount Broke Wines (and several other local wine producers) will have wine tasting and sales in the park, along with a wide range of food, market stalls, entertainment and a good time for all the family - including a bus tour of the nearby open cut coal mine!

Spirit of the Vine

The annual Broke Fordwich food & wine festival. The third weekend October is the day for your diary - eleven of the local Broke Fordwich wine outlets invite you in to try and see.

At Mount Broke Wines we will be showcasing some form of food & wine matching - fine details to be arranged - but whatever it is, it will be good.
