Mount Broke Wines is at the end of Adams Peak Road - off Milbrodale Road - a minute from the centre of the historic village of Broke

From Sydney to Broke

You have two choices: the rather boring Freeway or the scenic route. Your driving time will be about the same.
Freeway: Head north up the F3 for about one and a half hours from the start of the F3 at Wahroonga. Take the turning signposted for Cessnock and drive into the town. Head north from Cessnock into Pokolbin and turn left into Broke Road just past the Visitor Information Centre and Cessnock Airport. Follow Broke Road past Hunter Valley Gardens for a further 20km into the village of Broke.
Scenic route: head up the F3 and just past the Mount White truck checking station, take the turning at Calga. Follow the road through Peats Ridge and turn left onto George Downs Drive. This will take you though Mangrove Mountain, Kulnurra, Bucketty, Laguna, Wollombi and Paynes Crossing to Broke.

GPS users - Beware! Some GPS systems will try to send you from Sydney via F3, to Cessnock and Branxton. This will add around an hour to your journey

From Brisbane to Broke

Follow the New England Highway to Singleton. Head south through the shopping centre towards Putty Road, signposted for Windsor. 10km south of Singleton there is a left turn towards Newcastle (Golden Highway) and half a kilometre further on and second left turn towards Broke. Take the second turn and follow this for about 10 minutes into the village of Broke.

From Newcastle & Pacific Highway to Broke

Follow the New England Highway round Maitland and through Lochinvar, Greta, Branxton and Belford heading towards Singleton. Take the well-signposted left turn onto the Golden Highway and follow this to its T-junction with Putty Road. Turn left onto Putty Road and first left again towards Broke, a further 10 minutes drive.

From Broke to Mount Broke Wines

In the centre of Broke is the Broke Village Store. From the Store head north 50m and turn left into Milbrodale Road, across the wooden bridge and a further kilometre to Adams Peak Road on your left, just past Margan Wines & Restaurant. Follow Adams Peak Road for a kilometre to Mount Broke Wines.
