Lunch at Mount Broke Wines

We like to think of a visit to the cellar door at Mount Broke as being the chance to catch up with some friends that happen to live in the country and have a cellar full of wine.

Although our tasting room is air conditioned, most of the action takes place just outside on the shady verandah. We can comfortably cater for groups of up to thirty people, but ones and two are just as welcome!

As well as a wine tasting with a complementary cheese plate, your options are:

• BYO picnic - there are not that many picnic spots in Australia that have such a view and such good on-site facilities. Bring your own picnic lunch and use the tables and chairs. We have wine, beer and soft drinks available.

• Let us organise a picnic lunch for you - tell us your budget and any dietary constraints and we should be able to provide cold meats, cheeses, salads, etc.

• Make use of the barbecue facilities - turn your byo picnic into a barbecue by cooking your own meat on our barbecue.

• Let us arrange your barbecue for you - much like the picnic lunch, gourmet sausages, chops, kebabs, steaks, seafood - all dictated by your budget.

• Other ideas? If there is something you would like us to think about, please let me know. We do have access to a tame chef so just about anything is possible.

We are more than happy to make our facilities available to guests and groups, but as we need to be able to do this properly, we always ask you to pre-book if you want to bring more than a car-full of people.

We have a mailing list and our Mounties Wine Club - members get preference when it comes to booking out the verandah area for lunch but all are welcome.
